How to Set Up & Use a Snoofy QR Pet Tag
Snoofy is easy to use. Just follow these steps.
Create a pet profile
- Open “Profiles”.
- Tap “Add pet”.
- Fill out the form.
- Tap “Save profile”. Done!
Connect a tag to your pet
- Open your phone camera and point it at the QR code on the tag.
- Tap the link that appears on the screen.
- Tap “Claim this tag”.
- Verify with your phone number and tap “Yes, claim this tag”.
- If you’ve already added your pet, choose it and tap “Connect selected pet”. If not, tap “Create a new pet profile”.
That’s it! Anyone who scans the tag will now see your pet and your phone number.
If your pet is lost
- Open your pet’s profile and tap “My pet is lost”.
- Anyone who scans the tag will see that your pet is lost and can call you.
- When you find your pet, tap “My pet is found”.
Helpful tips
The link opened in a different browser?
Your camera may open the link in a different browser, where you might be logged out. That’s normal. Just log in again with your phone number and you’ll be back at the tag.
Who can see my phone number?
Only numbers with “Make this phone number visible” turned on are shown when the tag is scanned.
Scanning your own tag?
You’ll see the tag settings. Everyone else will see your pet’s profile.
Got a new tag?
Scan the new tag and choose the same pet. The old tag is disconnected automatically.
The tag won’t open?
If it says “This tag is not available”, the tag isn’t activated yet. Contact us for help.
